Rail - Kiosk

Kiosk

The Kiosk application represents the primary human-machine interface, acting as the intuitive "face" of the robot or any other device. Set as the default home-screen application with displays, it provides a professional and engaging touchpoint for user interaction. To ensure alignment with corporate identity, the Kiosk is fully customizable in both look and feel, allowing for a bespoke user experience that reflects specific functional requirements and brand aesthetics.

As a multifunctional gateway, the Kiosk app serves as a centralized platform to launch third-party applications and configure specialized features directly on the device. It simplifies complex robotic capabilities into a manageable user interface, facilitating smooth interaction between the end-user and the hardware. Whether navigating a robot via a floorplan or managing points of interest, the Kiosk ensures that sophisticated robotics technology remains accessible and easy to operate.

Rail

RAIL (Robust Abstraction & Integration Layer) acts as the critical translation layer between high-level software features and physical hardware execution. As the "on-device" software component, it bridges the gap between digital commands and real-world movement, ensuring that complex tasks are performed with precision. By utilizing a comprehensive REST and MQTT API, RAIL allows developers and operators to steer robotics and smart devices with unparalleled accuracy and minimal latency.

The versatility of RAIL extends from intricate robotics orchestration to the management of large-scale smart-device environments. It is particularly effective in hybrid setups, where it supports virtual test and training environments through digital twin technology, allowing for safe experimentation before real-world deployment. By integrating with Modbus and CANbus protocols, RAIL ensures that even the most complex hardware can be steered to complete tasks exactly as desired.

Cloud

The Talemate Cloud functions as the intelligent backbone and backend infrastructure of the platform, orchestrating the flow of data and events across all connected components. It provides a centralized management hub featuring enterprise-grade, role-based security to ensure that organizational data remains protected and accessible only to authorized personnel. Available for on-premise deployment the Cloud environment ensures that your infrastructure remains as flexible as your business needs require.

Engineered for high-level interoperability, the Cloud component features an extensive REST and MQTT API suite, making it the primary bridge for external integrations. Beyond simple data storage, it executes sophisticated algorithms—such as those used for energy device optimization—to drive efficiency across your network. This centralized intelligence allows for the seamless combination of AI and third-party applications within a "no-code" digital twin, ensuring your operations are both data-driven and future-proof.

Control

The Talemate Control serves as the sophisticated command center for your entire ecosystem, offering seamless remote management for Android-based hardware, IoT hubs, advanced robotics and any software system. This hardware-agnostic feature empowers users to manage configurations and data streams through a user-friendly interface available on Android, iOS, or via a flexible web- based platform. Designed with scalability in mind, the application is available as a white-label solution, allowing organizations to maintain brand consistency while leveraging powerful remote "see and hear" monitoring capabilities.

The engine behind Control is a robust "no-code" system utilizing unique building blocks that allow users to create complex automations and personalized kiosks without deep technical expertise. It acts as a universal translator, facilitating high-performance integrations through an open API and full compatibility with industry-standard protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, CANbus, PLC, and others. By bridging these disparate connections, Control serves as the catalyst for cohesive, intelligent ecosystems where hardware and software converge in real-time. It provides a unified command layer where over 10 million smart devices act in concert, robotics are expertly steered, and virtual environments are seamlessly created, tested, and deployed through a no-code digital twin approach.

Dashboard & functions

The Talemate Platform dashboard is designed as a fully customizable control environment where each user can build a workspace around their own operational needs. Through the dashboard editor, widgets can be added, enabled, renamed, moved and positioned, allowing users to create a highly personal interface for direct control, monitoring and interaction. The dashboard can combine functions such as compositions, maps, monitoring, movement controls, quick responses, websites, camera feeds and virtual environments into one central overview.

At the core of the dashboard is the Composer, which allows users to create flows and behaviors in a visual no-code way by linking action blocks together. It includes both a simple mode for linear action sequences and an advanced mode for logic, branching and process flows, making it possible to build everything from straightforward routines to more complex interactive scenarios. This fits Talemate’s broader platform approach, which is built to connect and control robotics, IoT and virtual environments within one integrated no-code ecosystem.

Beyond flow creation, the dashboard also offers powerful execution and control tools. The Scheduler makes it possible to run compositions or actions at specific dates and times, including recurring schedules, while the Task Manager can launch tasks automatically based on configurable triggers and even support concurrent or parallel execution. Monitoring provides visibility into events locally or in the cloud through lists, graphs and summaries, while Steering gives users more detailed control over connected devices. The speech functionality itself can be used to let a device talk, store quick responses, or send spoken commands, making the dashboard not only configurable, but also highly operational and interactive.

Connections

The Talemate Platform is built to make different systems work together in one scalable operational layer. Rather than acting as a standalone tool, it functions as a no-code orchestration platform that can connect data, devices, software and actions across complex environments. In that sense, Talemate is the layer that helps translate inputs from operational systems and protocol environments such as PLC, Modbus and CANbus into concrete workflows, triggers, interventions and device steering. Its MQTT-compatible architecture and open API support that role by making integration with external software and connected assets straightforward.

That orchestration strength is supported by the Talemate Platforms ability to receive, capture and process real-time data from a wide variety of sources. The platform is designed to link and control robotics, IoT and virtual environments in one integrated ecosystem, while external applications can exchange settings, actions and messages with Talemate through its API layer and MQTT-based communication model. This makes it possible to let incoming signals automatically trigger other actions, flows or responses in a structured and scalable way.

As a result, The Talemate Platform can be positioned not just as a dashboard or control platform, but as the central layer that allows businesses to act on data in real time and make systems interact operationally. Whether during production, storage or transport, signals can be linked to thresholds, alarms, escalation logic and automated interventions, while the same architecture also leaves room for AI integrations and more advanced intelligent workflows.
